You know - not enough leftist know how to shoot guns - myself included. In America, why is it that only rightwing haters assassinate people for their beliefs? Will the American Left ever come to think that certain political ideas/people are a cancer on the country and opt for some precision political care for the United States?
The Right’s success in political & cultural assassinations, as well as their jackbooted bullying through bodily & financial harm is largely due to how they outsource the most vile acts to so called “lone gunmen” and other under-the-radar fanatics & cabals that could NEVER be successful w/o leveraging sympathetic networks of “good” American (rightwing) people.
If the playground fights back the against the bullies, after everyone stops bleeding, the play ground will be a bit more civilized. The bully’s will think twice before picking on someone else. If they forget, hit’em again. Some thugs, in their illness, only understand the language of loose teeth and swollen noses - and language is a big part of how people remember.
Rightwing nutballs kill people because they deeply feel (maybe pathologically so) and personalize their politics. I’m not convinced that killing our enemies is a solution,but liberals and other leftists in our country seem to ignore assholes like Corker at our own peril. The left needs to be emotionally moved to action. We need more anarchistic, unsanctioned, passionate action.
We should be outraged at his disrespect. He should suffer politically for his disrespect of Sotomayor, his disrespect of the Supreme Court and the Senate’s appointment process. If Palin slugs can manipulate David Letterman into apologizing for a pretty funny joke, why can the left not hit Corker back for his unacceptable behavior?
